Hello everyone! One of my favorite things to do is to explore museums. The art can transport you to a different time period or state of mind. Museums allow me to truly be in the moment by clearing my mind of my daily worries and by getting me to just appreciate pure imagination and creativity. Luckily, Southern California is teeming with brilliant museums to wander through, like the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Since the LACMA currently has an exhibit on the whimsical costume and set designs by Marc Chagall, my friend and I decided to visit.
Outfit of the Day
I like dressing up when I visit museums. However, I don’t recommend wearing anything super fancy since you will be walking around for a long time. This look is the perfect balance between fancy and easy to wear. My white silk top is from Soto Boutique. I think the arm ties are so cute and add a unique flair to this breezy top. These cropped medium wash jeans are from Zara and are honestly one of my favorite jeans since they’re so versatile and comfortable, For shoes, I wore a pair of brown and black colorblocked flats that I got from Nordstrom Rack. These flats are great since they keep my look from being too casual and are way better for exploring than heels. I added a pop of color to my outfit with this red purse from Target.
Of course I had to include some photos of the pieces we enjoyed in the LACMA! We spent all day at the museum since there was just so much to see.
The Chagall: Fantasies for the Stage Exhibition was so beautiful! Theater is a major part of my life so I thought it was really neat to be able to see such spectacular costumes up close.
